Gud Moongfali Gajak:In the winter season, the market is full of jaggery and peanuts. When its wet smell comes in our nose, we just want to taste it. On the other hand, when peanuts fall in winter, everyone likes to show them and if it comes to jaggery and peanut chikki, then who would not want to eat it. Chikki made of jaggery and groundnut gives warmth to the body, along with it also gives taste. Its crisp taste seems very tremendous. Now in such a situation, if you do not want to eat it from the market, then you can prepare it at home. It is a very simple recipe to make
material
- a cup of peanuts
- 1 cup jaggery pieces
- two spoons of ghee
Gajak Recipe
- First of all roast the groundnuts in a pan or pan without any ghee.
- When the peanuts cool down a bit, mash them with your hands and remove their skins and now keep the unpeeled peanuts aside in a vessel.
- Take a pan, put pieces of jaggery in it, now add one spoon of ghee to it.
- Now stir the jaggery continuously and let it melt on low flame. If there are big pieces of jaggery, break them with a spoon and keep stirring. This will melt the jaggery quickly.
- Keep stirring it for about 2 minutes until the whole jaggery melts.
- Now it is important to know whether the sugar syrup has been prepared properly or not, for this take water in a bowl and add one or two drops of sugar syrup in it, if jaggery solidifies, then sugar syrup is ready, if not, stir for some more time.
- After stirring for some time, mix peanuts in it.
- Now put a little ghee in one utensil and make it smooth and put the mixed ingredients in it.
- Pouring the jaggery mixture on the utensil, spread it thinly.
- Now apply ghee on the rolling pin and roll the chikki.
- When the chikki cools down a bit, cut it with a knife in square shape or in whatever shape you want to cut it.
- When it cools down completely, break it into pieces and take them out.
