The ED team raided 15 locations of former minister Gayatri Prajapati in Lucknow, Amethi, Delhi and Mumbai on Thursday morning. Investigation is going on at five locations in Lucknow. Teams everywhere are busy investigating. There is a ban on anyone going inside. However, before this, a few days ago, ED had raided the premises of the former minister in Mumbai.
On Thursday, the Enforcement Directorate team reached the house of former minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati and a woman close to him, resident of Omaxe Height in Gomtinagar in Lucknow and Awas Vikas Colony in Amethi. The ED team has been raiding both their houses since morning. Local police have been deployed at both the places regarding the ED raid. This raid is being linked to illegal mining. More than half a dozen ED officers are present in the raid. Apart from his wife, current MLA Maharaji Prajapati and younger son Anurag, all the family members are present at the former minister’s house. At present the ED team is conducting raids for the last three hours. No statement has been given by ED officials regarding the raid.
