Generally, on any special occasion, big or small, if there is a strong craving to eat something sweet, then Gulgula Bhajiya is made quickly. There is a tradition of making Gulgula during Holi, especially in Chhattisgarh and it is also very easy to make. Urmila, a housewife living in Bilaspur, told how delicious Gulgula Bhajiya can be prepared. Whatever is required to make this will usually be present in your house. For this you will get all the ingredients at home, which means there is no need to order anything from outside.

These items will be used
wheat flour.
Jaggery or sugar.
Fennel and white sesame.
baking soda.
Ghee or oil.

How to make Gulgula Bhajiya
1. First of all, dissolve jaggery or sugar, whatever you want to use, in half a glass of water.
2. Take flour in a bowl and mix sesame, fennel and cardamom powder in it. Fennel is the lifeblood of Gulgula Bhajiya and the real taste emerges from it.
3. Now add sweet water to the flour and make a batter like pakoda. Make sure there are no lumps left in it. Now add baking soda to it and mix it well once again. If you feel that the solution is a little too thick, then add some plain water. But the solution should not be thin. take care of it.
4. Heat ghee in a pan. Now take the batter with your hands and drop the Gulgula Bhajiya into the hot ghee. When made with jaggery, their color becomes as beautiful as Gulab Jamun. When it gets a good colour, take out the Gulgula Bhajiya.
