How to Reset Your UPI Pin: Today’s times are such that we use UPI even for small needs. It is very easy to use UPI i.e. Unified Payment Interface, which is also called UPI PIN. If it happens that we ever forget our UPI PIN or someone comes to know our PIN, then the entire account becomes empty.
In such a situation, we are left with only one option and that is to change the UPI PIN. It is very easy to reset the UPI PIN. For this you have to follow some steps. Let us know what is its complete process.
What is the complete process to reset UPI PIN?
- For this, first of all you have to go to the payment application (PhonePe, Paytm, Google Pay etc…) in your phone.
- On this app, you will see your profile on the top left side.
- By going to the payment app, you have to go to your profile and tap.
- Here you have to choose the option of bank account for which you want to change the UPI PIN.
- Now you have to go to the section of UPI PIN and here you will get the option of reset.
- After tapping on the reset option, you will have to use your debit card.
- Here you have to enter the last 6 digits and valid up to date of your debit card.
- When you enter 6 digits and date, you have to click on Verify.
- After this, an OTP will come on your mobile number, which has to be entered and processed.
- Now you will get the option to create a new UPI PIN and confirm it.
You can also change it like this
Even if you do not have a debit card, you can change your UPI PIN. For this, you have to go to the profile of your payment app and open the UPI & Linked Bank Accounts menu. After this select the bank account and then tap on Change PIN. Then tap on I remember my old UPI PIN. After this you enter your old PIN and set the new PIN.
