Ingredients for making Gujiya
To make Gujhiya, 2 cups flour, 1 cup ghee, 2 cups khoya i.e. mawa, sugar as required to be added to the filling, 1 cup sugar for syrup, 1 teaspoon small cardamom powder, 1 teaspoon finely chopped almonds, one teaspoon Take chironji, one tablespoon grated dry coconut and water as per requirement.

How to make Gujhiya
To make Gujhiya, first knead the flour well in ¼ cup ghee and lukewarm water. After this, keep it covered for about half an hour. Now to prepare the filling of Gujiya, fry the khoya i.e. mawa on low flame till it becomes light golden. Then when the khoya cools down, mix finely chopped almonds, chironji, coconut, cardamom powder and powdered sugar in it. After this, make small balls of the kneaded flour and roll them into thin round puris on the rolling board. Then fill the prepared filling in it. After this, apply a little water or milk on the edges, close it and shape its edges with the help of a fancy cutter. If you want to use a mold for making Gujiya, then roll it out, spread it on the mold, put the filling in the middle, close the mold and give it the shape of Gujiya. Prepare all the Gujiya fillings in the same manner.

Now when many Gujiyas are ready, then put ghee in the pan and heat it. Then put Gujiyas in the pan and start frying them. Keep in mind that do not put more than four-five Gujiyas in the pan at a time. Then fry the Gujiya on low flame until it turns golden brown. Your delicious Gujiya is ready. If you want to eat Gujiya with syrup, then prepare the syrup by adding sugar and water in the pan and put the fried Gujiya in it and take it out immediately. After this, keep the Gujiya in a plate and let the syrup dry, after that when it cools completely, store it in a container.
