A video has gone viral from Araria village of Maraiya police station area of Parbatta block of Khagaria district of Bihar. Some people are seen firing in the air. The incident is said to have taken place on Thursday. After the video surfaced, the police swung into action.
Police denied being present at the scene
According to the information, last Thursday, on the instructions of Zonal Officer Parbatta, the zonal personnel and the government Amin had gone to measure the land to resolve the dispute between the two groups. Meanwhile, the other party, angry with this, started firing there. After that there was an atmosphere of chaos. It is being told that when the zonal worker started measuring the land, the local police was also present there. However, Maraiya Police Station President Firdaus says that the police was not present there at the time of the incident. After receiving the information, police reached the spot.
The dispute that has been going on for years between two groups
According to the information, there is a land dispute going on for many years between Kailash Yadav, Hari Lal Yadav and the other party Musan Yadav in Araria village of Maraiya police station area. Regarding this, both the parties had applied to the zonal officer Parbatta and requested the government Amin to measure the land. After that, the zonal officer ordered the measurement of the disputed land by the zonal employee and the government administrator. In this case, the land was being measured by government employees last Thursday.
It is being told that in the meanwhile the other side started firing indiscriminately. Hearing the sound of gunshots, the government personnel ran away from there. In this case, Police Station President Firdaus said that an FIR has been registered against Musan Yadav, Bhavesh Yadav and Sipin Yadav in this case. Raids are being conducted to arrest all the accused.
