1. Not applying sunscreen regularly

Even on cloudy days, use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 and reapply every two hours when you go out.

2. Not drinking enough water
Dehydration can also be a reason for the development of wrinkles. When the skin lacks enough moisture, it loses its elasticity, making it appear dry and wrinkled. Therefore, to keep your skin hydrated from within, drink at least 8 glasses of water throughout the day. Apart from this, also consume hydrating food items like fruits and vegetables.

3. Smoking regularly
Smoking not only poses serious health risks but also accelerates the aging process of the skin. The chemicals present in tobacco smoke damage collagen and elastin fibers, causing premature wrinkles and loose skin. Quitting smoking is the best way to protect your skin and overall health. Get help from friends, family or health care professionals to quit this habit forever.

4. Not getting enough sleep
Lack of sleep can have a negative impact on your skin and cause collagen breakdown and dullness. Make sure you’re getting seven to nine hours of sleep every night so your body has time to repair and refresh. Maintain a bedtime routine and create a sleep-friendly environment to improve the quality of your rest.
 
5. Consuming an unhealthy diet
Bad diet can also affect skin health and cause wrinkles. Include a variety of fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your diet that are rich in essential nutrients like vitamins C, E and antioxidants to give your skin the nutrients it needs to stay healthy and young.
