Allahabad High Court Decision UP Madarsa Board Law Cancel ann

UP Madrasa News: The Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court declared the UP Board of Madrasa Education Act 2004 unconstitutional. The court said that this act is against the principle of secularism. The court has directed the UP government to accommodate the students studying in madrasas in the basic education system. The UP government has constituted SIT in October 2023 to investigate madrassas. The SIT team is investigating the foreign funding being given to madrassas.

Currently about 24 thousand madrassas are running in Uttar Pradesh. Of these, about 16,500 madrassas are registered by the UP Madrassa Education Board. Anshuman Singh Rathod and others had filed a petition challenging the Act. Amicus Curiae Akbar Ahmed and other advocates had presented their stand in the court on the Madrasa Education Act. This order was given by the division bench of Justice Vivek Chaudhary and Justice Subhash Vidyarthi. The SIT team had about 80 madrassas under its investigation. Who had received about Rs 100 crore from different countries during the last 2 years.

Allahabad High Court’s decision has come on Manjre Aam in connection with Madrasas. We would like to say that the Constitution of our country has given us the power to establish our boundaries. So that Muslims can get training from there. It is obvious that Madrasa Board is also a part of our government. And the Uttar Pradesh government also runs the Madrasa Board. It would be wrong to say that only Quran and Hadith are taught in madrassas. There, along with Hindi, English, computer, science training is also given. Now training is also being imparted through smart classes. I think there is a need to think carefully about this decision of Allahabad High Court. This decision also needs to be challenged in the Supreme Court.

Just as the High Court has given a decision in which it has declared the UP Board of Madrasa Education Act 2004 as unconstitutional and said that it is against secularism. The way religion is being taught from a book. The way the lessons of fundamentalism are taught. These teachers get recruited without giving TET exam. The way government recruiters are looted, all this should be stopped. All these madrassas should be converted into primary schools. The money that is being given to them illegally should also be stopped.
