Another specialty of this sweet is that it is made only in a particular season. Manarasa sweets start being made in many areas of Bihar after July and are available in the market till December. Those who are Manarsa lovers, have to wait for this sweet for the rest of the time. However, there is Ankit Manarsa and Tilkut shop near Golambar in Buxar city, where you will not need to wait for Manarsa, because here you will get to eat hot Manarsa every day.

15 to 20 kilos are sold daily
In Buxar city, near Golambar, you will find a stall marked Manarsa and Tilkut seller. Manarsa continues to be built here from morning till evening. Shopkeeper Guddu told Local 18 that generally Manarsa is a seasonal sweet. But here you will find Mansarsa in every season. Even in off season, 15 to 20 kg of Manrasa is easily sold here every day. People of Buxar always demand for Manarsa. That’s why Manarsa is always formed here. However, the sales of Manrasa are higher during the rainy season. During the rainy season, 50 to 60 kg is sold daily.

Demand for Manrsa increases after July
Shopkeeper Guddu further told Local 18 that this sweet is made from khoya and sesame seeds. Refinement is used to make it. This sweet has a mild sweetness. People come from far and wide to eat it. There is a daily demand for this sweet here. After July, the demand for this sweet increases so much that people come from far and wide to buy it. Manarasa is the favorite sweet of the people of this area. Guddu told that currently Manrasa is being sold at Rs 160 per kg. There is a crowd of people here in the evening.
