Lok Sabha Election 2024: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday (24 March) Lok Sabha Elections Released the fifth list of candidates for. Tickets were given to 111 people in this list. The party has fielded Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut from Mandi Lok Sabha seat of Himachal Pradesh. Republican Party of India (RPI) President Ramdas Athawale has reacted on Kangana getting the ticket.
He said that Bharatiya Janata Party has given tickets to people from different areas. The party has also fielded Kangana Ranaut. Athawale said that BJP has tried to show its comprehensiveness by giving tickets to people from different areas.
‘Good people have got tickets’
RPI President said that BJP has given tickets to people associated with the field of Judiciary and also people associated with the film industry. Kangana Ranaut has got the ticket from Mandi and Arun Govil has also been fielded from Meerut. Apart from this, many other good people have got tickets.
‘NDA will cross 400 seats’
Athawale claimed that BJP has canceled the tickets of those leaders who had not done good work and had not contacted the people. The government is doing good work. Today 80 crore people are being given free grains. Athawale also said that this time NDA will win more than 400 seats.
He said that he targeted the Congress and India alliance. Athawale said that Kejriwal was not responding to ED’s summons. It is true that a scam happened in Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal was not going for questioning. The Chief Minister is not above the law. Modi and Shah have nothing to do with Kejriwal’s decision. This is the work of ED. The parties involved in India Alliance are abusing PM Modi.
Tickets to Arun Govil and Sambit Patra
Apart from Kangana Ranaut, in the fifth list, the party has also given tickets to actor Arun Govil, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Sambit Patra. Apart from this, BJP has also placed bets on many leaders from other parties. These include names like Sita Soren, Tapas Roy and N Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Scissors used on tickets of 37 MPs
BJP has cut the tickets of 37 MPs. The party has not given tickets to nine sitting MPs in Uttar Pradesh, five in Gujarat, four in Odisha and three each in Bihar, Karnataka and Jharkhand. These include Union Ministers Ashwini Kumar Choubey, VK Singh and Varun Gandhi. Atul Garg will contest elections from Ghaziabad in place of VK Singh.
