A mega rally will be organized on Sunday at Ramlila Maidan of India Alliance regarding the Lok Sabha elections. Opposition parties have claimed to have gathered a huge crowd in the Maharally. At the same time, people from farmers, laborers and RWAs will also participate in it. The slogan of the rally will be remove dictatorship, save democracy. Regarding this, Aam Aadmi Party has started distributing invitation cards to the people. On Friday, AAP’s Delhi state convenor Gopal Rai along with workers went door-to-door in Regarpura of Karol Bagh and appealed to the people to come to the Maharally. He said that AAP ministers, MLAs, officials and workers are inviting people.
Big leaders of India alliance will gather in the Maharally. This includes Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Sharad Pawar from NCP, Uddhav Thackeray from Shiv Sena, Akhilesh Yadav from Samajwadi Party, Tejashwi Yadav from RJD, Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, D Raja from CPI, TMC. Leaders of many other opposition parties including Derek O’Brien from CPI-M, Sita Ram Yechury from CPI-M and Mehbooba Mufti from PDP are likely to attend. In this, he will raise his voice with the people against the arrest of the central government and opposition party leaders. He said that there is huge anger among the public regarding the arrest of Chief Minister Kejriwal.
Rai alleged that people are seeing that the corrupt are becoming clean by joining BJP. The people of Delhi will not tolerate this. He said that people are angry about how the elected Chief Minister was arrested. Everyone is gathering in the Maharally to express their concerns on these things. The elected Chief Ministers of the opposition are being arrested, that is wrong and voice will be raised against it in the Maharally.
Rally against Kejriwal’s arrest: Rai
Rai alleged that on Thursday, Kejriwal had revealed in the court that the BJP had given him bail by taking Rs 60 crore from the government witness on whose allegations he was put in jail. This rally is against the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal. He said that BJP includes those people whom it accuses of corruption in its party and makes them MPs, Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers. Kejriwal has been arrested under political conspiracy. The country is not going to tolerate this any longer.
Lok Sabha elections will be heralded by Maha rally
State Congress Committee President Arvinder Singh Lovely said that Congress will launch its Lok Sabha election campaign in a mega rally at Ramlila Maidan on March 31. During this period, Congress will prominently raise 25 justice demands related to its five justice share justice, youth justice, women’s justice, labor justice, farmer’s justice. Lovely along with party leaders took stock of the preparations for the Maharally at Ramlila Maidan on Friday.
Lovely said that the Save Democracy, Save India Rally at Ramlila Maidan on March 31 and the unity of the India alliance will be a special example of history in the democratic system of the country. The entire Ramlila Maidan will seem like a Congress party. Lovely said that in the Maharally, Congress will also raise its voice to ensure justice to farmers and workers and participation of every section of the society. Strong voice will be raised for providing right price of MSP to farmers, loan waiver, insurance payment, right import export policy and freedom of farming from GST.
