Fearing arrest, a person jumped down from the roof on seeing the police in Kansi village of Simri police station area of Darbhanga district of Bihar. Due to this action, both the legs and waist of the accused were fractured. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Actually, the injured person is court warrantee Pramod Mahato, whom the police had reached the village to arrest. But as soon as he saw the police, he got injured while trying to escape by jumping from the warranty roof.
According to the information, after seeing the police who had gone for raid, accused Pramod Mahato first ran towards the terrace of his house. But when he saw that he would be caught even on the roof, he jumped down from the first floor to the ground. He was seriously injured in this incident, and the police admitted him to DMCH for treatment.
It is being told that Pramod Mahato is an accused in a case of fatal attack on a person. A warrant has been issued against him from the court. It is being told that the family members were sleeping after having dinner at night. Meanwhile, Simri police station reached his house to raid. As soon as the police called from outside the house, Pramod Mahato jumped down from his roof out of fear of the police. When he lost his balance while jumping, he fell on the ground and got injured. Seeing the condition of the accused, the police took him to Singhwada CHC in their vehicle. Where after first aid he was referred to DMCH.
Administrative Medical Officer in-charge Dr. Premchand said that the accused appeared to have fractures in both his legs and waist. He has been sent to DMCH for better treatment.
Regarding this matter, Simri police station incharge Virendra Chaudhary said that a warrant was issued against Pramod Mahato in an old case of assault and murderous attack, for whom the police had gone to arrest. As soon as he saw the police, the accused jumped from the roof of the first floor of his house to the ground. He has been admitted to DMCH for treatment.
