In Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday, drunken bike riders hit the policemen doing the checking. He himself collided with the barrier and fell. Three policemen and two bike riders were injured in this. Everyone was admitted to the hospital. The condition of the bike riders is said to be critical.
Policemen were checking late evening by putting up a barrier at Bajna Cut post of Naujheel police station area. At the same time, bike riders Devi Singh (50), son of Mahipal and Jagpal (40), son of Ravikaran, residents of Avakheda, who were going towards Bajna, came. The police signaled them to stop. On this, instead of stopping, he hit the policemen.
Due to this, outpost in-charge Naujheel Ankit Kumar, outpost in-charge Bajna Cut Dilip Kumar and driver Pradeep Kumar got injured. While trying to escape, the bike rider collided with an iron barrier. Due to this he also fell on the road and got seriously injured. The policemen present admitted everyone to the CHC. Seeing the serious condition, the doctors here referred bike riders Devi Singh and Mahipal to Mathura.
The family took him to some other hospital. The doctors gave first aid to all three policemen and sent them away. Inspector Shailendra Singh said that both the bike riders were under the influence of alcohol. He lost control at high speed and collided with the barrier. Three policemen and both the bike riders were injured in the incident.
