A female sanitation worker of the Municipal Corporation was beaten up on Monday. After the incident all the cleaning workers became angry. Reached the Municipal Corporation office along with the union leader and started demanding action. As soon as the information was received, Municipal Commissioner Nikhil Dhanraj Nippanikar reached and talked to the cleaning workers and gave assurance.
After which the Municipal Commissioner immediately took action and got the youth Dilip Yadav, accused in the assault case, bulldozed on the unbuilt and illegally built kutcha (brick-asbestos) house near the police line. On the instructions of the Municipal Commissioner, the illegally built roadside house was demolished.

Everyone was shocked by this action of the Municipal Commissioner. Actually, there was a fight with Meena Devi, a cleaning worker working in Ward No. 22, over cleaning. The victim employee accused Dilip Yadav’s family of assault. On receiving information about the assault on a female sanitation worker, permanent and NAGO workers doing cleaning work in other wards also came together. Reached the Municipal Corporation office and warned of stopping the cleaning work. Sanitation workers’ union leader Brahmdev Mahato arrived with the Municipal Commissioner along with the sanitation workers and informed about the incident. After this action was taken.
