Rahim Kulcha Nihari
You must have heard the name of the famous Rahim Kulcha Nihari of Lucknow, the capital of UP. This dish is 110 years old. People who come to Lucknow from Delhi-Mumbai as well as from abroad, do not forget to taste it. It is said that it was made for the first time in the kitchen of the Nawabs. Nihari is made of both beef and mutton. The meat is so soft that it melts in the mouth. Some people eat Nihari with Kulcha, while others eat it with Sheermaal Roti. This is the reason why both are available here.

Galavati Tunde Kebab
Tunde Kebab of Lucknow is famous all over the world for its unique taste. The dominance of Tunde Kebab’s taste continues for years even today. Even the chefs of big hotels across the country pale in comparison to the taste of Tunde Kebab. Famous celebrities including Bollywood actors have come here to taste the Mughalia flavored Galavati Kebab.

Idris’s Mutton Biryani

Vijay Shankar Verma, who started this biryani in 1988, told that in the initial phase he used to prepare about 4 to 5 kg biryani and sell half plate for two and a half rupees on every street. Within no time, this biryani has become famous all over the country.

Wahid’s Chicken Biryani
Lucknow’s famous Wahid’s Chicken Biryani outweighs all the other Biryani. The taste of this biryani remains intact since 1955. Tourists coming to Lucknow do not forget to eat it.

Khamiri, Rumali Roti and Sheermal Roti
Even today, Rumali Roti, Khamiri and Sheermal Roti of the time of Nawabs are being sold in Lucknow, which people like to eat. These rotis are so soft, thick and tasty that you can eat them with vegetarian or non-veg vegetables.

Lucknowi Lassi
Lucknow’s Lassi is also very famous. Especially when it comes to Chowpatty’s Narayan Lassi, people do not forget to drink it on Eid. Many varieties of Lassi are available here, which gives relief to people even from this scorching heat.
