Sharp shooters of Lawrence Bishnoi and Kale Rana gang opened fire outside the house of builder Vikas Sharma of Moti Nagar for extortion of crores. Outer North District Police has arrested the miscreant who opened fire from Shahbad Dairy area. Apart from a pistol and two cartridges, the police have recovered the clothes worn during the firing from the miscreant.
The police officer said that in view of the upcoming elections, the anti-vehicle theft branch of the district was keeping a vigil on the miscreants under the leadership of Inspector Raj Malik. On April 8, the police got information about a miscreant roaming around with a pistol in Shahbad Dairy area. It was also told that the miscreant was involved in the firing that took place outside the builder’s house in Moti Nagar. The police team cordoned off the area and arrested Satendra Kumar, resident of Prahladpur. The accused is originally a resident of Bargawan, Sitapur UP.
During interrogation, he told that in September 2023, he came in contact with Lawrence Bishnoi, Kala Rana and a member of Kapil Mann gang. On March 2024, he was asked through Signal App to reach Narayana area on 31st March. Where she met another boy. He took her on scooty and reached Moti Nagar. He was told to open fire at the house of builder Vikas Sharma and throw a slip containing the extortion money there. Both of them reached there around 2 pm, opened fire and ran away.
He told that he did not know the scooter rider. After the incident, he dropped her near Rithala metro station and went away. Due to fear of arrest, he was hiding himself by staying at different places. Police have also recovered a mobile phone and clothes worn during the incident from his possession. District Police Deputy Commissioner Ravi Kumar Singh said that Satendra Kumar is 20 years old. He has studied till ninth class. He used to work as a laborer in a factory of Shahbad Dairy. During this time he came in contact with the gang member.
