This guy is the owner of 100 kg tomatoes and is plucking 20 kg tomatoes a day and eating them himself and also feeding people and that too for free. You will be surprised to hear that who has so many tomatoes in this era of inflation? And who is distributing it to people for free.
Famous as Vegetable Man of Lucknow
Actually, this person is none other than Vinod Kumar Pandey, popularly known as Vegetable Man of Lucknow, who has converted his terrace into agriculture and currently 100 kg of tomatoes have grown there. At present, he has plucked more than 30 kg of tomatoes while still 60 to 70 kg of tomatoes are growing on his terrace, balcony, courtyard of his house and in the park outside.
Haven’t bought vegetables for 30 years
Pandey ji’s house has become a center of attraction in Lucknow. His house is in Vinay Khand 1 of Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, just in front of Panchavati Park. When Pandey ji was asked about tomato farming, he told that he was fond of farming at home since childhood, that is why he started growing different vegetables on the terrace, park, balcony and courtyard. Now this is happening for the first time when vegetables are being produced in large quantities at home. He works in the private sector, that is why he does not consider it necessary to trade vegetables. However, the effect of cultivating vegetables on the terrace is that I have not bought vegetables for the last 30 years because all the vegetables are grown at home. Which I eat myself and also give a lot of vegetables to my family, relatives and neighbors.
Due to this there is good yield
Vinod Kumar Pandey is also making people aware about how they can grow vegetables at home so that their yield is good. Seeing these, other people have started farming in their homes also. Vinod Kumar Pandey told that the main reason for the good vegetables at his place is that he uses organic fertilizers. They use kitchen waste and use neem oil instead of pesticides and take care of them morning and evening, due to which the yield is good.
