Spotify New Feature: Music streaming platform Spotify is testing a feature that will allow users to remix songs with their favorite artists like TikTok. In this, users will be able to speed-up, mash up and edit the artist’s tracks. According to a report, this tool is still being discussed and no official announcement has been made by Spotify regarding it.
TechCrunch report says that Spotify is working on a new feature, in which users will be able to remix their favorite songs directly from Spotify. It is also mentioned in the report that Spotify is working on many big features, one of which is Playlist Tuner. This upcoming feature of Spotify is heavily inspired by a feature of TikTok, which is famous by the name of Duets. Apart from this, this feature for Reels has already been launched on Instagram also.
Will give competition to YouTube with this feature
Earlier, information also came to light that Spotify is testing to bring music video feature on its platform, which will be able to compete with YouTube also. Generally we see that most of the people around the world use YouTube to watch music videos. However, not only music videos but many other types of videos can be seen on YouTube, but only music videos will be streamed on Spotify.
This feature of Spotify is going to give competition to not only YouTube but also Apple Music, because users of both these platforms can get attracted to Spotify. Last year itself, Spotify had also launched a short video service like YouTube, through which users can create their own videos of up to 30 seconds and upload them on Spotify.
