UPSC CSE 2023 Category Wise Result: The results of UPSC Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE Result) have been released today. Aditya Srivastava, resident of Lucknow, has topped this examination. Whereas Animesh Pradhan of Odisha is at second place and Donuru Ananya Reddy of Telangana is at third place. However, for the last few years, wood was on top in this examination. But this time the boys have won. But today we will tell you category wise results.
A total of 1016 candidates have been successful in the UPSC Civil Services Examination (UPSC Result) 2023. A total of 1143 posts were to be filled through this exam. Of these, 180 posts are for IAS. Whereas 200 posts are for IPS and 37 posts for IFS. Interviews were conducted in April itself after the prelims and mains exams.
Civil Services Examination 2023: Details of reserved seats under Rule 20(4) and (5)
As per Rule 20(4) and (5), 250 seats were allotted to various reserved categories in the Civil Services Examination 2023. These seats are as follows-
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 36 seats
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 66 seats
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 10 seats
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 4 seats
- Disabled (PWD 1-2, PWD 2-2): 4 seats
A total of 1066 candidates have achieved success in the UPSC CSE 2023 examination. The performance of the candidates of different categories is as follows-
- General Category: 347 candidates
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 115 candidates
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 303 candidates
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 165 candidates
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 86 candidates

Candidates successful in UPSC Civil Services Exam are appointed to Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Services, Group A and B.
