Wheat Cultivation: Due to not being able to sell wheat, the Haryana State Supply and Marketing Federation (HAFED) is making continuous efforts for the sale. HAFED had procured wheat for commercial use from Haryana and Madhya Pradesh in the last harvesting season April-June. Now an application has been invited for online bidding for its sale. Online bidding is being done for the first time. Hafed had bought 67363.62 tonnes of wheat.

On the other hand, 40395 tonnes of wheat is stored in Ujjain, Indore, Dewas, Vidisha, Ganjbasoda, Sehore, Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. It will be sold in Madhya Pradesh.

At the same time, the Center is estimating the economic cost of wheat to be Rs 2588..70 for 2022-23. When wheat is sold all over the country, it should be at the same rate. Miller will pick up the wheat only from the depot designated by the state. Wheat should not be picked up from other depots at all.
