In Bihar, angry groom’s side beat up bride’s brother after getting less amount of dowry. The bride’s brother was seriously injured in this incident, after which he was hurriedly admitted to Sadar Hospital. The incident took place in the Somnath temple complex under Nagar police station area of Nawada district. The injured youth has been identified as Rajeev Kumar, son of Rajesh Chaudhary, resident of Golabdarji village of Kauakol police station area. Hurt by this incident, the girl refused to marry.
There was a fierce fight over thirty thousand rupees.
Regarding the incident, family members told that Rajiv’s sister was going to get married in Somnath temple. The groom’s side was given 30 thousand rupees less in tilak. Because of this, the groom’s side demanded Rs 30 thousand before the marriage. There was a debate between both the parties regarding this matter. Then within no time the matter escalated into a physical fight and then the groom beat up the bride’s brother Rajeev Kumar. Rajiv was seriously injured in this incident. The family members immediately admitted him to the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.
