Two people died due to unseasonal rain and storm in Aurangabad on Tuesday evening. The condition of two remains critical in this incident. The incident took place in Sahar Jalvan village under Ghatrain Panchayat of Madanpur police station area, where a peepal tree fell on an electric auto vehicle due to the strong gust of storm. When a tree fell on the auto, two people traveling in the vehicle died on the spot, while two people including the driver were seriously injured. The deceased have been identified as Jitendra Singh and Nagina Bhuiyan, residents of Jalvan. The injured have been identified as auto driver Arun Kumar Gupta, resident of Jalvan, while the other is said to be Manjhi, resident of Koeri Bigha.
Peepal tree fell on auto
Regarding the incident, local people say that the electric auto was taking a ride from Madanpur market to Jalvan Sahar village. As soon as the auto reached near Jalwan village, a Peepal tree fell on the auto due to a strong storm, due to which two people of Jalwan village traveling in the vehicle were crushed to death. On receiving information about the matter, the local police reached the spot. The fallen tree was removed with the help of JCB. Also, the dead and injured trapped in the vehicle were removed by cutting the body of the auto. With the help of local people, the injured were brought to the Community Health Center of Madanpur for treatment. Also, the police have taken the bodies of the deceased in their custody and brought them to Aurangabad Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

A daughter’s wedding procession was to take place in a house in Sahar village. Three women have been injured after a tent-pandal collapsed due to the storm. At the same time, a tree was uprooted due to the storm in the Electricity Supply Branch office of Madanpur. Also, Karkat’s house located in the complex was blown up and damaged. Also a house collapsed in Taradih village. As soon as information about these incidents was received, the police of the local police station quickly reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations.

Meanwhile, Ghatrain Panchayat Samiti member Ram Naresh Kumar Singh said that he will try to provide the fixed compensation amount of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased from the Disaster Management Relief Fund. CO Akbar Hussain said that the incident site is being inspected. Further action will be taken to provide compensation.
