BJP candidate Rajnath Singh from Lucknow Lok Sabha seat filed his nomination on Monday. He has won this seat with a landslide victory in 2014 and 2019. He has been made a candidate from Lucknow Lok Sabha seat for the third consecutive time. On the occasion of nomination, many leaders including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya were present with him.
Rajnath Singh’s road show for nomination started from the BJP office in Lucknow and he reached the Collectorate along with hundreds of his workers. During this time, BJP workers remained very excited and seemed confident of their victory for the third time.

Before leaving for nomination, Rajnath Singh worshiped at Hanuman Setu temple in Lucknow. He performed Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva and visited Hanuman temple. A crowd of supporters was seen outside the party office in Lucknow since Monday morning. People looked excited to join the procession with drums.
