Fire broke out in Hilsa subdivision office

A sudden fire broke out in the sub-divisional office Hilsa located in Hilsa city of Nalanda on Monday morning. A plume of smoke started coming out of the sub-divisional office. After this, people nearby noticed the fire in the subdivision office. Later senior officials were informed about this. Three fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and brought the fire under control after about an hour of effort.
Inauguration took place 2 years ago
Reconstruction work of Hilsa sub-divisional office was done. It was inaugurated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in the month of May 2022. Many security equipment were installed in the building after spending lakhs of rupees. Fire safety system has also been installed. Despite this, when the fire incident occurred on Monday morning, the fire safety system proved useless. There is talk that the wires used for wiring were also not of high quality, due to which this incident occurred.
Net supply stopped
Due to the fire incident in the video conferencing room of the sub-divisional office, the computer set, papers, battery set and internet server kept in the conferencing room were burnt to ashes. Due to which internet service has been disrupted in the entire sub-divisional office.
The office was closed at the time of the incident
When the fire broke out in Hilsa sub-divisional office, the office was closed. It was fortunate that no one was present in the office at that time. Otherwise there could have been loss of life and property.
SDO-DSP reached the spot
After receiving information about the fire, the police of Hilsa police station including SDO, DSP, local chief councilor reached the sub-divisional office and started investigating the matter. Hilsa SDO Praveen Kumar said that the fire has been brought under control. The system is being rectified. The fire broke out due to short circuit.
