Farmers are on strike at Shambhu railway station in Ambala division. Due to this, trains going to Punjab-Jammu are being run via Ambala-Chandigarh. The route of 35 trains of Moradabad division will remain changed till May 4. Senior DCM Aditya Gupta said that (15097) Bhagalpur Jammu Tawi Amarnath Express, (12237) Banaras Jammu Tawi Begumpura Express, (15652) Guwahati-Jammu Tawi Express are being run on the alternate route.
(18103) Tatanagar-Amritsar Jallianwala Bagh Express, (13005) Howrah-Amritsar Punjab Mail, (13151) Kolkata Jammu Tawi Sealdah Express, (13307) Dhanbad-Firozpur Ganga Sutlej Express, (14617) Purnia Court-Amritsar Janseva Express, (14649) The route of Jaynagar Amritsar Saryu-Yamuna Express, (12491) Barauni-Jammutvi Mordhwaj Express has also been changed.
(12357) Kolkata-Amritsar Durgiana Express, (12355) Patna- Jammutavi Express, (14603) Saharsa-Amritsar Jansadharan Express, (12203) Saharsa- Amritsar Garibrath Express, and (12407) Newjalpaiguri- Amritsar Karmabhoomi Express, (15933) Newtinsukia-Amritsar Express, (04651) Jaynagar-Amritsar Clone Express will run till 4 am via Ambala Chandigarh-New Morinda-Sanehwa-Sirhind. Senior DCM said that while returning from Amritsar, all these trains will run via Sanehwal Chandigarh-Ambala.
