Resident Doctors Association (RDA) of AIIMS proudly hosted its annual academic conference RDACON 2024. It brought together a remarkable gathering of professionals in health care, health technology and artificial intelligence. This prestigious event, chaired by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, proved to be an enlightening and thought-provoking experience for all present.
Chief Justice Dr. Dhananjay Yashwant Chandrachud said that doctors should concentrate on the treatment of patients without coming under any pressure. Doctors are another form of God. The highlight of the event was the keynote address delivered by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud. He stressed the necessary collaboration between the medical and legal professions, underscoring their complementary roles in society. The Chief Justice also spoke on the rights of the LGBTQ community, sharing personal anecdotes and emphasizing the importance of inclusivity in health care.
He said that doctors should never succumb to any greed, because it is the responsibility of the doctor to save the patients. If a doctor comes under greed and pressure, he cannot save the patients. The doctors of AIIMS do good work and the patients coming to AIIMS have high expectations from the doctors. The doctors here are very serious towards the patients. The Chief Justice said that there is no better doctor than AIIMS, when a patient has a serious illness, the doctor has to take a difficult decision to treat him. He first came to AIIMS to get his family treated and After that they used to come here to visit. It feels good to come to AIIMS. On this occasion, AIIMS Director Dr. Srinivas, Dr. Vinay, Dr. Reema and others were present.
