The body of an elderly man was recovered in Ghagha village of Bihiya police station area of ​​Bhojpur district of Bihar. There are injury marks on the neck of the body, due to which it is suspected that the old man has been strangled to death. Meanwhile, after receiving information about the incident, Bihiya Police Station Head reached the spot along with the police force and started investigating the matter. The body was also sent to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

According to the information, the deceased elderly has been identified as Bhim Sah, 70 year old son of late Gyanchand Sah, resident of Ghagha village of Bihiya police station area. Regarding the incident, the deceased’s son Umesh Kumar Gupta said that in the year 2011, there was a fight with the Patidar people over 60 bighas of land. FIRs were also lodged from both sides in that case. At that time he had also gone to jail and came out on bail. Meanwhile, his bail had expired and a warrant was issued. In this connection, the police had come to his house on Saturday night to arrest him.

He told that after this the police had come on Sunday also. For that reason he left home on Sunday night. When he did not return home for a long time, his family members searched for him till late night. But nothing could be found out. On Sunday morning, information was received from a person that the dead body of an elderly man was lying in a parking lot about 150 meters away from his old house in the village itself, after which when the family reached there, they saw that their father’s body was lying there. After this, the family informed the local police station.

On the other hand, the deceased’s son Umesh Kumar Gupta has accused the Patidar’s Jalim Sah, Kedar Sah and Lalu Sah of strangulating his father to death due to the ongoing 60 bigha land dispute with his Patidar. However, the police is investigating the matter at its level. It is being told that the family of the deceased consists of wife Shakuntala Devi, three sons Umesh Kumar Gupta, Bhola Gupta and Sunil Gupta and two daughters Mamta Devi and Sita Devi. After the incident, there was chaos in the house of the deceased elder.
