Kulgam Encounter: On Wednesday (8 May), security forces killed another terrorist in an encounter in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. This is the third success for the security forces in the Kulgam encounter. Just a day before, military forces had killed two terrorists. Police officials say that during the search of houses near the encounter site in Redwani area of the district, there was an exchange of fire with a terrorist hiding there.
Jammu and Kashmir police officials said that a terrorist was killed today and he is being identified. Let us tell you that on Tuesday, two militants including wanted Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Basit Dar were killed in an encounter with security forces.
The death toll increased to 3
According to the information received, one more terrorist has been killed in a joint operation by security forces in Redwan Pine area of Kulgam, taking the death toll to three. The forty-hour long encounter that started on Monday evening ended today. At present, the identity of the terrorists is being confirmed and the area is being cleared.

Top Lashkar commander Basit Dar was killed
Recently, there was a terrorist attack on an Indian Air Force vehicle in Poonch, in which a soldier was martyred. Security forces had started a search operation against terrorists in Redwani Payeen area of Kulgam. There was information about many terrorists hiding here. After this, the operation was started by surrounding the entire area. One of the two terrorists killed in this operation was TRF commander Basit Dar, who was a wanted terrorist of A++ category with a reward of Rs 10 lakh.
Operation to catch terrorists in Rajouri continues for the third day
