Anupam: Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer show ‘Anupama’ has always been a favorite of the fans. The show remains on top in the TRP chart. Yesterday, the fans of this show got a shocking news when Ashish Mehrotra told that he is leaving the show. He played the role of Anupama’s elder son Paritosh Shah alias Toshu. Toshu never liked his mother in the show. He was always angry at him for everything but he was very close to his father Vanraj.

‘Toshu’ cried bitterly after leaving ‘Anupama’

Earlier, fans had seen Sagar Parekh aka Samar dying in the show. It was an emotional moment for Anu because she had lost her dearest son. Now fans are speculating as to how Toshu will be out of the show or someone else will come in his place.


Ashish shared a long note saying goodbye to Toshu. Now he has spoken openly about his exit in an interview. He said that he has a lot to do in the show and his path is full of ups and downs, playing the character of Toshu was a challenging experience for him and he is grateful for the love and support he has received from the fans.

I felt bad when I woke up in the morning

Ashish said that Toshu will always be with him and he had a lot of fun on the set on the last day. He shared that it did not shock him at that time because he was firm on his decision. He revealed that he has the blessings of the show’s producer because he allowed him to move ahead. Ashish has a good relationship with the makers. However, when he woke up the next morning, he suddenly cried as he realized what was really happening.


‘Anupama’ became emotional

Ashish Mehrotra had told fans with some photos on Instagram that he has left the TV show ‘Anupama’. Rupali is also seen with him in these photos. On this occasion, Rupali Ganguly also commented on his post and wrote – ‘All the memories shared with Ashish will be cherished. Even unfiltered conversations will be remembered.

He said that ‘the bond of their friendship will always remain. On this Ashish gave a cheeky reply. He wrote, ‘Love, love, love and all the love in the world for you… now be happy without me on the set.’
