Angry voters boycotted due to not getting Samman Nidhi
People have been refused permission to vote in Khamaria village of Magalganj in Lakhimpur Kheri. The villagers allege that the Kisan Samman Nidhi has not been received. They are adamant on calling the District Magistrate. Due to this, votes could not be cast at the booth till 9 am.

Villagers angry due to road not being built
Only three votes were cast till 8.30 pm at Neyli polling station of Mohammadi tehsil of Lakhimpur Kheri district. Villagers are boycotting voting due to non-construction of roads. SDM reached the spot and is trying to convince people. Negotiations are still going on.

Rain of votes amidst rain
No effect of rain was seen at Biharipurwa booth number 89 of Nighasan area of Lakhimpur Kheri. By 8.30 in the morning, more than 100 votes had been cast here. There is a queue of voters since morning.

BLO did not distribute slips in Magalganj
The BLO did not provide voter slips to the voters of booth number 8 in Magalganj town of Lakhimpur Kheri. This created a problem for the people who reached the booth to vote after the voting started. People kept trying to get the slip after seeing their names. Because of this a crowd was seen outside the booth.

rain caused disturbance
The pace of voting came to a halt due to rain disruption at booth number 259 in Basaha Bhud village of Phulbehar in Lakhimpur Kheri district. There are around 2400 voters at this booth and till 8.15 only 40 votes were cast. The booth remained vacant due to heavy rain.
