An uncle and nephew died in a horrific road accident in Bhagalpur on Monday morning. The incident took place near Murgianchak village of Sanhola police station area. The deceased have been identified as Sunny Kumar (18), son of Ashok Singh, resident of Amdanda police station area, and Sintu Singh (27), son of Keshav Singh.

The accident happened while returning from the wedding procession.

Regarding the incident, family members say that the marriage procession had gone to a village located in Gaura of Dhoraya police station area of ​​Banka district. In the morning, uncle, nephew and other people were returning home by e-rickshaw. Meanwhile, he was hit by a speeding highway near Murgianchak village and ran away. In this incident, the uncle and nephew sitting on the e-rickshaw died on the spot. If family sources are to be believed, both of them had gone to Gaura in Dhoraya of Banka district to attend the wedding of a young man from the same village. While returning early in the morning, a speeding vehicle hit the e-rickshaw hard, due to which the rickshaw was completely damaged. Two passengers sitting in the e-rickshaw died tragically on the spot. After the incident, the Haiva driver fled from the spot with the Haiva. After the death of two people traveling on the e-rickshaw, the driver and other people fled from there. Here, after getting information about the incident, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. Family members also arrived on information of the incident. After this he started crying loudly.

Police engaged in investigation

Local people informed the local police about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and sent the body to the hospital. Police have also seized the e-rickshaw. Here, after getting information about the incident, other relatives of the deceased reached the police station where he was in a bad condition, crying. Regarding the matter, Police Station President Chandan Kumar said that two people have died in a road accident. The e-rickshaw has been confiscated. Further action is being taken to find out which vehicle caused the collision.
