Pramod Yadav, resident of Balatol Ward 10 of Kursandi Panchayat of Puraini police station area of Madhepura, was shot by criminals on Tuesday night. He died while being taken to Patna for treatment. Pramod Yadav was the younger brother of Vinod Yadav, PA of Assembly Vice President cum Alamnagar JDU MLA Narendra Narayan Yadav.

It was told that at around 9 pm, Pramod was returning home after delivering milk at the dairy. Meanwhile, criminals shot near Balatola Shiv Temple. The bullet had hit him in his waist. Hearing the sound of the gunshot, the family members arrived and admitted him to the Community Health Center Puraini, from where he was referred to Mayaganj. He died on the way from Mayaganj to Patna.
Raids are underway in search of the criminals
Here, after the incident, there was a stir in the area. A crowd of people gathered around. The family members say that they do not know who shot and why. The police should take this matter seriously and arrest the murderer. On receiving the information of the incident, Puraini police station chief Dharmendra Kumar reached the spot with his team and started investigating. He said that soon the people involved in the incident will be arrested. Raids are going on in search of the criminals.
