Bike riding criminals shot dead a sand trader at Sigri Khiri Mor border of Paliganj subdivision of Patna. In this incident, the sand trader died on the spot. After committing the crime, the criminals escaped from the spot brandishing their weapons. On getting the information of the incident, a heavy police force including the Paliganj subdivisional officer reached the spot and sent the body of the deceased to the subdivisional hospital for postmortem and started further investigation. Confirming the incident, Paliganj subdivisional officer Pritam Kumar said that the matter appears to be of old enmity.
Gunned down while returning home
Regarding the incident, local people say that Ganesh Yadav (35), a resident of Sugam Tola, was returning home from Balu Ghat on his bike. In the meantime, the criminals who had ambushed him earlier, shot him dead near the Sigori Mod border. After the incident, the criminals fled on the bike. Regarding the incident, the police sub-divisional officer Pritam Kumar said that Ganesh Yadav has also been named in many previous cases. He said that during investigation it has come to light that Ganesh Yadav was shot by criminals due to an old rivalry, due to which he died on the spot. As soon as the incident happened, the local people informed the police about the incident. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation.
There is no CCTV at the scene
Police Sub-Divisional Officer Pritam Kumar said that there is no CCTV camera installed in the vicinity so that the footage of the criminals and the incident can be seen. Police Sub-Divisional Officer said that efforts are being made to question the family members regarding the murder. Only after the questioning, it will be clear with whom Ganesh Yadav had a dispute.
