In Patna, an uncontrolled truck crushed a young man riding a bike, in which he died a painful death on the spot. After the incident, the local people blocked the Patna-Fatuha road and created a ruckus. Due to the road jam, a long line of small and big vehicles was formed on both sides. During this, people enraged by the incident also broke the windows of many vehicles. On receiving the information of the incident, police from many police stations including Ramakrishna Nagar police station reached the spot and pacified the matter by convincing the people enraged by the incident.
Truck ran over bike rider
The deceased was identified as Ranjeet Kumar (35), a resident of Hilsa. Regarding the incident, the local people said that Ranjeet is an auto driver. Today he was going from Hilsa to Danapur by bike. Near Ram Lakhan Path, a speeding truck crushed the bike rider Ranjeet. In this accident, Ranjeet Kumar died a painful death on the spot. As soon as the incident happened, people from the vicinity gathered at the accident spot. As soon as the incident happened, the truck abandoned its vehicle and fled from the accident spot. Angry people broke the windows of the truck. Local people blocked the Patna Fatuha road and protested fiercely.
Police calmed down the matter
As soon as the information of the incident was received, police from many police stations including Ramakrishna Nagar police station reached the spot and pacified the people angry with the incident by convincing them. Police say that the people protesting and the relatives of the deceased were demanding compensation. Police somehow pacified the situation and sent the body to Patna’s Nalanda Medical College Hospital for postmortem. During this time, there was chaos at the spot for several hours. Currently, the police is taking further action.
