During the interview, Madhu Chopra said, ‘It doesn’t matter to me. The man is good, the girl is good, both take care of each other, that’s enough. There was never any discussion about this, I never saw him from that perspective. I was very happy and very excited, people kept on talking’.

Madhu Chopra said, ‘When Nick came to India for the first time, he took me to lunch, Priyanka was not around then. Nick asked me what kind of boy I want for Priyanka. Then I started reciting the whole list and he just held my hand and said, ‘I am that boy, can I be that person? I promise that nothing will be left unchecked from your list’. Madhu Chopra was impressed by Nick’s words and fell in love with him.
