A major accident occurred on Wednesday on Patna-Paliganj road due to the negligence of a truck driver in Patna, Bihar. The bus driver died in this accident. While more than ten people were injured, out of which the condition of four people remains critical. After the incident, the truck driver fled from the spot. A sub-inspector Manish Kumar of Paliganj police station was also injured in this accident, who has been admitted to Patna AIIMS for treatment. After the incident, there was an atmosphere of chaos at the spot for hours.
According to the information, a bus coming from Pali to Patna had reached near Gorakhri in Vikram police station area. At the same time, a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction hit the bus from the front. The speed of both the vehicles was so high that the front part of both the vehicles was completely damaged. It is being told that the collision was so severe that the driver of the bus got stuck on his driving seat. The bus driver was taken out with the help of a JCB machine in a badly injured condition. After that he was admitted to the hospital for treatment, where the doctors declared him dead.
It is being told that more than ten people travelling in the bus were injured in this horrific accident, out of which the condition of four people is said to be critical. Confirming the incident, Vikram police station in-charge said that the truck driver has fled leaving the vehicle. Police is continuously conducting raids to arrest the truck driver.
Vikram police station in-charge further said that sub-inspector Manish Kumar posted in Paliganj police station was travelling in the bus from Pali to Patna for election duty. He also got injured in this accident. He said that all the injured have been admitted to Patna AIIMS for treatment. After the incident, there was chaos at the spot for hours.
