In Bihar’s Muzaffarpur, a racket of making fake Mobil oil in the name of many big Indian and foreign companies has been busted. In the raid conducted in this case, urea stickers, cans made in the name of branded companies and other material have been seized. Action has been taken in Pankaj Market Road of Nagar police station area, in which packed fake Mobil worth more than Rs 15 lakh in the market has been seized.
According to the information, a business of making duplicate Mobil oil was busted in a late evening raid in Muzaffarpur district. This includes fake Mobil oil of many renowned companies’ brands like Gulf Oil, Tata Oil and Bajaj and TVS Motor Company. Nagar police station has seized it after conducting a raid, which is being investigated. During this, the material used for refilling Mobil was also seized.
Actually, on the information of a company team from West Bengal, Muzaffarpur police raided a shop and its warehouse on Gola Road in Nagar police station area. From where a large quantity of duplicate Mobil oil of many famous companies has been seized. At present, the cans of Mobil oil are being counted. After that it will be sent for investigation. At the same time, Nagar police station took the shopkeeper and his employee to the police station for questioning.
Nagar Thanadhikari Vijay Kumar Singh said that a team from Bengal had come which checks duplicate oil. They had received information that a shop and a godown on Gola Road had a large quantity of duplicate oil. After that, Nagar Thana Police cooperated with the company and seized a large quantity of oil, the cans of which are being counted. The seized Mobil oil belongs to many branded companies, which is being investigated. Further action will be taken after interrogating the people taken into custody.
