Expansion

The exit polls of Lok Sabha elections 2024 have once again almost repeated the figures of such surveys of 2019. Last time only one exit poll had given 38 to 40 seats to the National Democratic Alliance. The rest had put the NDA around 30 to 34 seats. This time the position of the NDA is looking worse in the exit polls as compared to last time. The NDA is being given a minimum of 27 and a maximum of 36 seats. Two exit polls are giving one seat to others (independents). But, the biggest thing is that the Grand Alliance is being given two to 10 seats in Bihar. Meaning, if this turns into a result, then the Grand Alliance will definitely get an achievement. And this achievement should be made at the national level. Not from the Indie AllianceRather, it will be the grand alliance already running in Bihar. More than that, it will be the only opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav.

Showed strength by fielding candidates without sharing seats

Tejashwi Yadav is currently considering the exit polls to be wrong. He says that the result will be the same as was told after the meeting of Indy Alliance in Delhi. According to that, he is waiting for a miracle on 40 seats of Bihar as well. By the way, Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal, the largest party in the state assembly, does not have a single Lok Sabha MP right now. So, if according to the exit poll, even a minimum of two and a maximum of seven-eight seats come in the account of the Grand Alliance, then the dominance of RJD in Bihar will definitely increase. In 2019, only one Congress MP was elected from the account of the Grand Alliance. The way the exit poll is showing RJD this time, Lalu’s party alone can also get five-seven seats. If this happens, then it will also prove the old decisions of RJD to be right. Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the opposition in the Bihar Assembly, may not have come forward, but the way he took charge of the election campaign – it seems clear from that that Lalu was only for show in giving symbols to the candidates without seat sharing. Lalu Prasad was not seen actively campaigning for any candidate except his daughters, while in RJD too, Tejashwi alone was in charge.

Rahul Gandhi is limited to Congress seats, leftists are also less visible

While showing the exit poll of Bihar, the agencies wrote Indi Alliance at some places and Congress+ at other places, whereas the reality is that only RJD+ or Mahagathbandhan contested the elections here. No new party of Indi Alliance got a chance in Bihar. Apart from this, the existence of Congress, the main party of Indi Alliance, also remained dependent on RJD here. Despite being welcomed at the Congress headquarters, the party could not get Pappu Yadav a ticket from Purnia and Nikhil Kumar from Jehanabad. RJD had declared candidates without seat sharing with Congress. Its effect was also seen in the election campaign. Rahul Gandhi may have been with them when they came to Bihar just for the sake of showing, but it was more evident that he was not putting in all his efforts to make the Mahagathbandhan win here. He campaigned only on the seats where Congress candidates were contesting. RJD or leftist allies were not his priority. Left parties also focused on their own seats. In such a situation, if Mahagathbandhan gets results according to the exit poll, then it will be considered as the strength of Tejashwi Yadav. That too, when Tejashwi campaigned for 26 days on a wheel chair despite being taken off the stage in pain.
