According to the Mirror website, America’s Kat Kamalani is 34 years old, a mother and was once an air hostess. In this video, she explained why she hated her job. Now she has become a social media influencer, and also posts travel videos on Instagram, where more than 3 lakh people follow her.

Flight attendants have to face these problems
What she hated the most was that the job of an air hostess was based on seniority. That is, the more senior the person is, the more concessions he will get. Whoever is joining when will decide whether he will get off on weekends or weekdays, when he will get holidays, which flight route he will travel on, which class he will look after. The second thing she had a problem with was that she had to undergo a very rigorous training. She had to undergo training for 2 months, 6 days a week, which was for 15 hours a day. Air hostesses have to undergo many types of tests and if you do not pass 80 percent of the tests, you are fired from the job.
Passengers think they are servants!
She was most troubled by the fact that passengers consider air hostesses as servants or waiters. Many times they misbehave with them, shout at them and even use abusive language. She said in the video that people think that flight attendants are there only to serve drinks, but it is not so, they are there for the safety of the passengers. Apart from this, many times one has to travel in 3 flights in a day, the layover is very less and one has to wake up early, due to which one does not get enough sleep. Due to all these problems, she left the job.
