The incident happened just after midnight on Sunday, when a large birthday party was organized near the intersection of Kelly and 8th Avenue in Akron, about 27 miles south of Cleveland. Dozens of bullets were fired one after another during the party. The sound of gunfire was recorded in CCTV cameras installed in a nearby house.
A 27-year-old youth died
Akron police have confirmed that at least 27 people were shot. One of them, a 27-year-old man, was declared dead. Some of the injured were taken to the hospital in a private vehicle and admitted, but information about their condition has not been revealed.
