40,000 vehicles sold in the first month itself
While talking to the media, Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Editor of Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India, told about the development that happened after the launch of this new model. Maruti Suzuki has wholesaled 19,393 units of Swift in the month of May. With this, Swift has emerged as the best selling model of Maruti Suzuki in the month of May. In terms of sales, this car has also left behind Dzire and WagonR.
Sales will increase further with the arrival of the CNG variant
Regarding the success of Swift 2024, Partho Banerjee said that getting 40 thousand bookings for the petrol version of the new generation Swift is a good response for this model. The sales of Maruti Suzuki vehicles will increase even more when the CNG variants will be launched in the market in a few months.
Maruti Suzuki India said that the manual variant of the new Swift is becoming quite popular. More than 83 percent of the bookings have been done for the manual variant. Whereas 17 percent of the bookings have been done for its AMT variants. The company also said that about 50 percent of the bookings were done for the mid-spec VXI variant of the new Swift.
The new Swift is budget-friendly
The price of the new Maruti Suzuki Swift starts from Rs 6.49 lakh. The ex-showroom price of this car goes up to Rs 9.64 lakh. This price may vary according to different regions. Maruti Suzuki has recently reduced the price of all its cars by Rs 5,000 on AMT variants to increase the sales of these models.
