In Agra, Uttar Pradesh, the grandson of a former state minister got into a dispute with another party over horse racing. The other party beat up the grandson. He got injured due to this. The victim has filed a case against the accused. The other party alleges that the grandson of the state minister entered the house and pelted stones and fired. The police is not taking action under pressure from the government.
Rajiv Pal Singh, the elder son of former state minister Chaudhary Udaybhan Singh, lives in Kamla Nagar. Rajiv’s son Shashank Chaudhary alias Raja has a horse farm in Dayalbagh. On Saturday night around 11.30 pm, Raja was racing horses with his friends on Bahadur Road. During this, a fight broke out after an altercation with Johnny of the other party. The former minister’s grandson has been injured in this. On the complaint of the grandson, the police registered a case against the other party on Sunday evening.
It is alleged that after giving the complaint, Shashank, Kunal, Divyansh along with their 30-40 companions reached the house of the other party at 12.30 on Sunday night. They entered the house and vandalized it, pelted stones and fired. Sheela Devi from the victim’s side said that she had gone to New Agra police station at night. 40-50 people from the other party were already present there. She returned due to fear.
The police did not listen to the victim when she went there again on Monday morning. The victim alleges that the police is not taking any action under pressure from the government. In this regard, ACP New Agra Syed Areeb Ahmed says that there was a fight between two parties. A case has been registered on the basis of medical report. The accused party did not come to the police station. Further action will be taken on the basis of evidence and investigation of the accused party.
