Two tourists travelling on a bike to visit Valmikinagar in Bettiah, Bihar died in a road accident. The incident took place on the Valmikinagar-Bagaha main road in the Valmikinagar police station area of the district. The deceased bike rider has been identified as Rahul Kumar (28), son of Ratan Bhagat, who died on the spot. The other person, identified as Vishal Kumar (30), son of Madan Prasad, died during treatment.
According to the information, both the youths are residents of Siwan, who had come to visit Valmikinagar from Siwan. Meanwhile, while returning from Valmikinagar, they met with an accident and both died. Here, SI Mahesh Kumar, who was present at the scene, said that Rahul’s body has been recovered and sent to the subdivisional hospital Bagaha for postmortem. While, the other person Vishal died during treatment.
According to the information, while trying to save a monkey near Bhedihari Compartment, the bike rider lost control and collided with a tree. In this accident, the bike rider died on the spot. Whereas, the young man sitting behind him was badly injured. The injured young man kept struggling on the road for hours. When passersby saw him, they informed the police.
On receiving the information of the incident, SI Mahesh Kumar of Valmikinagar Police reached the spot and took the injured person to the subdivisional hospital Bagaha in Dial-112 emergency service vehicle. Where he died during treatment. It is being told that both of them are residents of Hospital Road, Siwan. One of them used to work as a teacher in a private school. After the summer vacation, both of them went to visit Valmikinagar on bike with their friends. But while returning, they became victims of the accident.
