Before going to take the UPSC CSE Pre exam on 16 June 2024, know about some rules. These are some issues, if you are negligent about them, then your dream of becoming an IAS can be shattered.
- First of all, take a printout of your admit card and carry it with you. Without this you will not get entry into the center. Before entering the center, you will also have to show the print of the photo ID card. Along with the admit card, also carry a valid photo identity proof. It is necessary to mention it in the e-admit card.
- Also keep in mind that candidates whose photograph is not clear in the admit card or whose name is not there may face problem in entering the centre.
- Candidates have the option of carrying a copy of a photo identity card and two passport size photographs. Along with this, they should have an undertaking only after which they will get a chance to sit in the examination.
- It would be better if you face any problem with the e-admit card and contact UPSC in time and get your problem resolved.
- Reach the examination venue at least 30 minutes early as the gates will be closed after that and you will not be allowed entry. No candidate will be allowed entry into the centre after the stipulated time. Leave early and reach on time for both the morning session and the afternoon session.
- Do not carry any type of gadget with you. Apart from this, do not carry any type of digital watch, book, expensive jewellery item, purse etc. with you.
- Before going for the exam, pay attention to your clothes and do not wear clothes with big pockets, full sleeves and any frills or designs. Also avoid high heel shoes or slippers.
