A young man died under suspicious circumstances on Thursday morning in a hotel located in Ramchandrapur of Laheri police station area of Bihar Sharif. The deceased has been identified as Rocky Kumar (26), son of Jitendra Ram, a resident of Sati Sthan Mathuria Mohalla of Laheri police station area. At present, the young man was living in Patna with his wife.
The hotel operator said that suddenly in the morning the staff informed him that a young man who had come to the hotel on Wednesday had fallen ill and was suffering from diarrhea. After this, the young man was admitted to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital. There the doctor declared him dead. After confirming the death, the local police were informed about the incident.
Actually, three years ago, the young man got married against the wishes of his family. After this, his family evicted him from the property through the court. He was living in Patna with his wife. It is said that on Wednesday, he came to his home from Patna, where his family members did not allow him to stay. After this, the young man went to stay in a hotel. As soon as the family members of the young man got the news of his death, they reached Sadar Hospital. However, they clearly refused to tell anything about this matter.
In this case, Laheri police station chief Ranjit Kumar Rajak said that on receiving the information of the death, the police reached Sadar Hospital and took the body in their custody and started the process of conducting the postmortem. The young man’s wife has been informed about the incident. The cause of death will be revealed only after the postmortem report comes. Further action will be taken on receipt of the application.
