It is natural to get startled when a strange sound is heard from outside the house. But it rarely happens that when you look outside, the scene there blows your senses. Because you see something that may not put your life in danger, but can definitely shock you badly. Something similar happened with a woman, when she shared her experience on social media, people started giving reasons for that incident in their own way.
Sharing her experience on the Reddit forum, a Scottish woman told how she was stunned to hear “strange noises” coming from her front garden. In her post, she also shared a picture of a lot of ducks on her lawn and wrote, “Heard strange noises. I opened my front door and heard this sound. I do not have ducks and never have.”
But many people in the comments were not surprised and started giving possible reasons. “Your garden could be infested with crane flies, chinch worms or some other pest,” said one user, trying to solve the mystery. “Sometimes crows come to our lawn when we have pests in our lawn.”

While one suggested another reason, “It’s probably because of the flooded road, friend. Really weird,” to which the woman who shared the picture replied, “This is Scotland. It’s not a flood, it’s a little rain. Perfectly normal,…” Another Reddit user pointed out, “Looks like your lawn is wet. Those ducks were probably flying down and found something attractive in your yard. They will fly away soon. I have geese that stop at my farm on their way to the lake.”
Meanwhile, some cheeky users couldn’t help but poke fun, with one joking: “Well, sorry to say, but it seems they want to be you, you’re their true leader. Quack quack.” The woman later updated her post, joking: “I’ll probably only keep one…”
