Debina said about the birth of her second daughter, I used to feel very happy when so much milk was produced in my breast that my daughter’s stomach was filled. I was happy about one thing that there was no tension regarding the child’s food. You have to make a lot of changes in your lifestyle and diet for the children to get mother’s milk for a period of time. After that you eat right and you do everything right.
Breastfeeding Is Tough
When the child starts drinking the milk of its mother, then that whole process is very difficult and full of difficulties. When you start breastfeeding your baby in the beginning, then there is a lot of pain in the nipples. Also you have to sit for a long time. On the other hand, due to sitting for a long time, pain in your back also starts. Debina says that if I share my experiences with you, then when I used to feed my daughter. At that time I used to feel severe pain on the right side of my back. Also, when the baby drinks milk directly from the breast, it is difficult to understand whether his stomach is full or not.
Breastfeeding women should take care of their food and drink
Debina says that all the mothers who feed their children should take maximum care of their food. Debina says that after the birth of the second daughter, when the doctor came to know that I was breastfeeding my daughter, he suggested that I must take two supplements – iron and calcium. Because if you do not take calcium, then the milk you are producing for the baby, it eliminates calcium from your bones, due to which you become weak and there will be deficiency of many minerals in your body.
What is the myth about breast milk
Debina Banerjee says that there are many myths about breast milk. The most common belief is that if you want to increase breast milk then you should eat sago. I discussed this issue with my doctor and lactation specialist. He said that in reality nothing like this happens. There are some things which really increase breast milk, that is cumin water and gond laddoos, if you can make gond laddoos with almonds or dates, that too helps in increasing breast milk. Asparagus (Asparagus racemosus) and galact can also be consumed.
