On 17 June, during the welcome program of BJP MP Satish Gautam, elected for the third time, two groups of supporters clashed with each other in the park outside his office. During this, there was abuse during the debate on the votes received by the MP in each other’s area. By the time they came out of the park, a fight broke out in which the head of a leader of one side was broken. A complaint has been lodged with the police in this matter.
It is said that MP Satish Gautam was sitting in the park in front of his office in Vidya Nagar in the morning. Where all the supporters came to welcome him on his victory again. During this time, a large number of people came to welcome him under the leadership of Brahmin and BJP leader Ram Kumar Bhardwaj of the coal region. The welcome was going on amidst the crowd. Meanwhile, Brahmin leader of the other group and BJP supporter Vijay Mudgal arrived with his companions. A debate started on the comments about the MP getting less votes in each other’s area.
Ramkumar alleges that Vijay’s party was asking why the MP got less votes in their village. On this, he accused Vijay Mudgal of making BSP contest the election. The debate on this matter escalated so much that abuses started. It is alleged that when Ramkumar came out of the park, he was attacked from behind. His head was injured by some object. When Ramkumar reached the police station, the police called the other party as well. Medical examination of both the parties was done.
Both the parties say that they have filed a complaint against each other. Vijay Mudgal has accused of unnecessary indecency, while Ramkumar has accused Vijay and his friends of assault. Quarsi police station inspector Vijaykant Sharma says that there was definitely a fight between them, but no complaint has been received. Medical examination has been done. If a complaint is received, action will be taken.
