RRB ALP Recruitment 2024 Vacancies Increased: There is good news for the candidates who wish to get a job in the railways. If you want to work here as an Assistant Loco Pilot, then know that the Railway Recruitment Board has increased the number of vacancies three times. These recruitments are for RRRB ALP and were released under advertisement number CEN 01/2024. Understand that new recruitments have not been announced but the number of vacancies has been increased under the old recruitment itself.
Earlier recruitment was to be done on so many posts
Let us tell you that earlier Railway Recruitment Board had invited applications for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot, under which eligible candidates were to be appointed on a total of 5696 posts. The number of these vacancies has now been increased to 18799, which means that now this many posts will be filled.

To see the notice issued in this regard, you will have to visit the official website of RRB Chandigarh, whose address is – rrbcdg.gov.in. In this regard, the railways has informed that the number of vacancies has been increased keeping in view the additional demand raised by the zonal railways.
Also know that right now the notice regarding increase in the number of vacancies has been released only on the website of RRB Chandigarh. Soon, a separate notice will be released on the regional websites according to the number of vacancies to be filled.
everything else will remain the same
In this regard, the board has also informed that the candidates who have already applied need not apply again. However, when the vacancy notice is published on the regional websites, then they can change the choice according to their region i.e. according to their need.
The rest of the process related to these vacancies like eligibility for application, method of selection etc. will remain the same as before. For selection, candidates will have to give the five-stage exam set by RRB.
The selection will be done in five phases
Candidates will be selected for these posts after passing several stages of examination, the details of which are as follows. In the first stage there will be CBT i.e. Computer Based Test, in the second stage there will also be CBT. In the third stage there will be CBAT i.e. Computer Based Aptitude Test. In the fourth stage there will be document verification and in the fifth or last stage there will be medical examination.
