Know what was the matter
On 27 January 2001, Sadhu Yadav had gone to the transport office in Visvesvaraya Bhawan with his bodyguards and supporters. At that time, a meeting was going on in the chamber of the then Transport Commissioner Narendra Kumar Sinha. Sadhu Yadav was trying to get an enforcement inspector transferred by pressurizing the Transport Commissioner. When the transfer was not done, Sadhu Yadav created a ruckus and misbehaved with the Commissioner. After this, the Transport Commissioner registered a case in Shastri Nagar police station. To prove its allegation, the prosecution got the statements of seven witnesses, including the then Transport Commissioner Narendra Kumar Sinha, recorded in the court. Sadhu Yadav was an MLA from Gopalganj Assembly at that time. He held the post of MLA from 2000 to 2004. In the 2004 Lok Sabha elections, he won the Lok Sabha election from RJD and became an MP. As soon as the news of Sadhu Yadav going to jail reached his supporters in Gopalganj, they were disappointed.
